I was attracted to the CoB for two reasons initially. For one, the CoB was participating with the Mennonites in a Hispanic church plant which, unfortunately, failed as such; yet our Manos de Cristo Fellowship remains a successor to the earlier planting effort. Secondly, A good friend of ours was already a member of a nearby CoB, was active in the peace and justice movement (as we continue to be). The Cross Cultural Consultation continues to be an important part of our identification with the CoB.
